a full day and pretty things

I am winding down from a lovely & grateful day of caring for my four wee baby birds who are coming down with  colds~ plenty of blueberries, assisted nose blowing and cuddles, house cleaning, a wonderfully healing yoga session, late dinner at an Italian restaurant where  I ate yummy stuffed portabella mushroom ravioli, and wanted dessert but didn't say so..I will have to bake tomorrow to fill the void.. In between all the business of today, I managed to take some photos of the pretty things in my yard:
Our little mourning dove has returned
once again (this makes it #4) she is part of the family by now~

The white flowering bush, that has
been allowed to grow into a tree is flowering outside my bedroom window~

I open it during my yoga sessions and
today I was rather frightened by the loudish high hum of a ruby chested hummingbird that hovered for a 1/2 second looking at me in a lotus pose, then as fast as I caught my breath, he was gone...

A wind transplanted Apricot Mallow appeared along the walkway ~

A rather defensive but beautiful weed ~

The periwinkles are raging pink ~

Also lots of concentrated sewing in between moments on this busy day,
the wee mushrooms I am working on are
coming along nicely, I am alternating delicately placing , then sewing on the tiniest of spots on red caps, and stitching together the creamy white bases of the bright and happy arargic Mushroom's. Right before I posted this I grabbed my camera and shot this for you, my view to the left~

I recieved a very lovely note yesterday from a wonderfully talented friend Jen Shumate~ photographer extraordinaire,
who have used a pair of my hand made Pure  Creame Linen and White Lace Corset cuffs in a fashion photo shoot:::::

Aren't these just gorgeous??

They really made my day rock!

Well being that it is so very late..I must pry myself from my laptop, try and put away any pointy and sharp tools, and drop into some serious REM..I apologize for the extra long post today.I had so much to share.:O)
